    Enjoy Your Life

    20.50

Enjoy Your Life: The Art of Interpersonal Relations as Exemplified in The Prophet’s Biography is a comprehensive guide towards improving interpersonal skills and hence, enjoying life. The author, Dr Muhammad ‘Abdur-Rahmân al-‘Areefi (Al Arifi), writes: An enjoyable life entails learning and practising multiple skills; the few who truly apply them savour the success that comes with it. Of course, atop the list of the successful is the chief of humanity, Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him). His entire life was an ocean of pearls that I have scattered throughout the pages of this book. Enjoy Your Life! is not the product of an effort of a month or a year. Rather, it has resulted from the research that I devoted myself to for twenty years. I inscribed it with my tears, pouring my soul and squeezing my memories into it. I penned down various incidents involving the joy of our eyes – our first teacher, Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him). I highlighted his exceptional talents; his skills in dealing with people and enjoying his life. Enjoy Your Life! contains personal memories, real-life experiences, and incidents that I have publicised for the first time – praying that Allah, the Exalted, makes them a source of benefit for you. Enjoy Your Life! contains words that are straight from my heart, hoping to find a place in yours. It is the dearest and most beloved of my books. I ask Allah, the Exalted, to benefit others with it, make this effort solely for His sake, and amply reward all those who have contributed to spreading it. Organ Transplantation Euthanasia Cloning And Animal Experimentation An Islamic View

    13.99

Muslims believe that everything they own has been given to them as a trust from Allah. Would it constitute a breach of that trust to consent to enroll oneself as an organ donor? While euthanasia may apparently alleviate suffering of the terminally ill, would that not compound their agony in the life hereafter? The author sheds lights on these issues and acquaints the reader with the latest rulings on these biotechnological manipulations.

Sharing Eden: Green Teachings From Jews, Christians And Muslims

    7.50

Sharing Eden sets out to show how respect for the environment is at the heart of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths. Today’s environmental concerns can trace their heritage through scriptures, teachings and actions known to generations across the centuries. The millions of followers of the Abrahamic faiths have the potential to turn their common environmental awareness into a worldwide force for the future of the planet they share with all people of faith and of none. Combining a lightness of touch with some of the most beautiful and enlightening texts from the Abrahamic scriptures, Sharing Eden is just a beginning.”Finding common ground between Christianity, Islam and Judaism is a critical priority for the whole world and nowhere is that common ground more evident or inspiring than on environmental issues.” Jonathon Porritt. Harfiyah Haleem is the editor of a collection of essays on Islam and the Environment, co-editor of The Muslim Green Guide to Reducing Climate Change and treasurer to the trustees of the Islamic Foundation for Ecology and Environmental Sciences (IFEES).
