He was a\u00a0member of the first team that translated the Ramadan night prayers (Taraw\u00ee\u1e25) live from the Sacred\u00a0Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet\u2019s Mosque in Medina (2002-2005). Dr. Khattab memorized the entire\u00a0Quran at a young age, and later obtained a professional ij\u00e2zah in the \u1e24af\u1e63 style of recitation with a chain\u00a0of narrators going all the way to Prophet Mu\u1e25ammad ( ). He received his Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Islamic\u00a0Studies in English with Honors from Al-Azhar University\u2019s Faculty of Languages & Translation.
