    Explanation of the Four Principles

    6,99

Allah the Most High says, “I created not the Jinn and humans except that they should worship me (alone).”

Any type of worship mingles with even a mustard seed amount of shirk, all of the worship unto Allah (All kinds of Ibadah) will be destroyed and invalidated. And whoever committed Shirk would be thrown ito the Hell-Fire eternally. So every muslim should realize all the four principles of Shirk are the most important matter for him to learn

Finding Peace In The Holy Land: A British Muslim Memoir, Lauren Booth

    15,50

Finding Peace in the Holy Land is a spiritual adventure story which begins in the quiet London suburb of Hampstead in the 1970s. Lauren’s father is a famous actor and political militant. Penniless and unable to pay the rent, he tells her that changing the world is the reason for living.

After her early faith is shattered by a mysterious fire, Lauren paddles the shallows of celebrity life, where her political opinions pit her against the views of her brother-in-law, who just happens to be Prime Minister Tony Blair. This rare and relevant memoir is told with brisk honesty and sharp humour. It is a dramatic life story sweeping from the suburbs of North London to the olive groves of the Holy Land, from handball with Hamas to breaking a deadly siege by land and by sea.

It tracks the singular journey of a one-time party girl and part-time Christian to the quiet, teetotal life of a devout believer in the teachings of the Arabian Prophet.

    Review:

Finding Peace in the Holy Land is a memoir by Lauren Booth, who is probably best well-known as Tony Blair’s sister-in-law. Beginning with her hilarious upbringing, and moving through her life as an actress, a political activist, and then a journalist and humanitarian, it is ultimately the story of how she came to Islam. – Muslimreads.com

    From my sister’s lips

    14,99

An extremely thought-provoking book that challenges Western preconceptions of Islamic women

red from head to toe with only her eyes visible, the sight of a Muslim woman on a western city street rarely fails to provoke a strong reaction. Feelings of shock, horror, repulsion, pity or even fear are not uncommon. But have you ever wondered who it is behind the veil and what makes her tick? Ever wondered what her life is really like and whether her dreams, hopes and aspirations differ from yours? From My Sisters’ Lips offers a rare glimpse into the lives of a community of women, most of whom are converts to Islam, and invites you to share their joys, sorrows, convictions and faith.

When Na’ima B Robert abandoned her western lifestyle and embraced Islam six years ago, it was not a decision taken lightly. Yet soon after she took her first tentative steps towards covering, she felt empowered; no longer judged on physical appearances alone, no longer seeking the approval to feel beautiful – or using her looks to wield power over men – the experience effected her greatly. Before long she grew in confidence and courage. As she says, ‘Something just clicked. I thought, “Good, don’t look; don’t compare me with your latest squeeze, don’t try and guess my measurements – my body is my own business!”‘
From My Sisters’ Lips offers a glimpse into the lives of just some of the extraordinary women who, like herself, have chosen to live behind the veil. What emerges is a vivid and intimate portrait of a sisterhood; as they speak candidly and with conviction on a diverse range of subjects ranging from marriage to motherhood, stereotypes, submission and self-image, we hear the strong, proud voices of those who are seldom heard.

Review “Extremely thought-provoking, this challenges Western preconceptions of Islamic women” ( Telegraph) “A stereotypical view paints Islam as a religion which represses women. But this is not the full picture, as Na’ima B. Robert argues in her new book” ( Daily Mail) “Spiritual awakening is at the core of this book… Robert shows how Islam has made a positive difference to the lives of women from wildly different backgrounds, with fascinating results”

Ideal Muslim By Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Hashimi, IIPH

    18,00

The Ideal Muslim is about the true Islamic personality of the Muslim as defined in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Written by Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Hashimi (also the author of the Ideal Muslimah), this book defines the Ideal Muslim as a man of the highest moral character. This book will play an important role in directing the Muslim community towards the path of guidance and leadership, thus becoming a beacon for all mankind.

Islam does not concentrate on filling men’s minds with philosophical ideas, or on excessive dream-like spirituality, or on physical training and perfection, or on self-serving materialistic philosophies such as exist nowadays in both East and West. Islam drew up a balanced, integrated program for man’s development, taking into account his physical, intellectual and spiritual needs, based on the sound principle that man is formed of body, mind and soul.

The Muslim personality is balanced. He pays due attention to his body’s needs and his outward appearance, without letting it distract him from taking care of the inner characteristics, as befits man whom Allah has honoured.

    “For, believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord.”  – {T.M.Q – 8:2}

Islamic Creed Series Vol. 1 – Belief in Allah: In the Light of the Qur’an and Sunnah

    23,99

In this first of his eight-volume Islamic Creed Series, Dr. ‘Umar al-Ashqar discusses the mistaken ideas that have crept into Muslim thinking concerning Allah and His attributes, and highlights the fact that the only correct way to understand the verses of the Qur’an and the hadiths which speak of Allah and His attributes is the way in which they were understood by the first generations of this Ummah (the ‘salaf’). Dr. al-Ashqar also examines modern concepts, such as the theory of evolution, and proves that they are wrong and false. Following the Qur’anic injunction to ponder the signs of Allah in the universe, he pays attention to the study of natural phenomena which clearly point to the existence and Oneness of the Almighty Creator. Thus Dr. al-Ashqar affirms the principle which lies as the heart of Islamic faith and practice, namely tawheed (the creed that there is none worthy of worship other than Allah), the Absolute Oneness of the Divine Through divine revelation and explicit examples led by the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him), we are reassured of Allah’s existence and glory. His attributes are clearly described in this book, giving you a better understanding of, and insha’Allah a stronger bond with, our Creator, as the power of tawheed acts as a vehicle in our mission to strengthen our personal relationship with Allah the Almighty. Allah’s characteristics are explained and referenced clearly in this book. Relevant discussions regarding philosophical proof found in the Qur’an and the Sunnah allow room to answer all questions and remove all doubts concerning this fundamental belief in God and the implications it has on how we live our lives. These basic precepts of religion remain true for all time and every generation. This Islamic Creed Series of books is translated into English by Nasiruddin al-Khattab.

Islamic Creed Series Vol. 5 – The Minor Resurrection (What Happens After Death): In the Light of the Qur’an and Sunnah

    18,99

What happens after death? When will the end of the world be? Are we really living in the ‘last days’? These are questions which concern everyone, no matter what his or her background. Many have tried to answer these questions, producing theories that range from the fanciful to the nihilistic, but manmade notions cannot answer questions about matters which the human has no way of finding out by himself or herself. In these as in so many other issues, Islam brings us answers. Surely the One who gives life and takes it away is the One who is the best to inform us of what happens after death. The One who has created this universe and humankind is the best to tell us about when this world will come to an end and humankind will be called to judgement. He has informed us about these matters, in His Book and through His Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). In this book, Dr. ‘Umar al-Ashqar examines all these issues from the point of view of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. He looks at issues of death and what happens to a person’s soul after death, including the questioning of the angels and the torment of the grave. He also examines the signs of the Last Hour, which indicate that the Day of Judgement is approaching – many of which are already happening. As always, he quotes extensively from the texts, placing these issues squarely within an Islamic framework and dispelling the myths and misunderstandings that have arisen and become prevalent. This Islamic Creed Series of books has been translated into English by Nasiruddin al-Khattab.

    Kitab At Tawheed Explained

    18,99

“There is none worthy of worship other than Allah.” This fundamental Islamic statement of faith sums up the concept of tawheed, or perfect monotheism. That there is one and only one God is the basis of all monotheistic religion. Yet, despite the simplicity of this belief, many people who claim to believe in one divine Creator have fallen into errors which negate their testimony of faith.

Back in the 12th Century H (18th Century CE), the author felt compelled to write this book because he saw Muslims who had corrupted their beliefs and actions by that with contradicted the pure monotheistic positions of Islam. He witnessed the religious veneration of historical sites and graves, supplications made for the intercession of deceased saints, belief in omens, distortions of the meaning of Allah’s names and attributes, and the use of expressions which contradict the belief in Allah’s Oneness. In an effort to purify Islam from this falsehood, the esteemed shaykh collected proofs from the Noble Qur’an and the teaching of Allah’s Messenger to explain all aspects of true monotheism.

Sameh Strauch has rendered this famous text into an English translation that is unique in its clarity. Each bit of textual evidence is followed immediately by an explanation of its points of benefit. Where needed for additional clarification, Strauch adds information from recognized Arabic commentaries on Kitab at-Tawheed, making this book an invaluable guide to understanding the fundamental Islamic creed.

The author talks of this book himself saying;  “This book “Prayers of the Pious” developed out of a series of lessons that I recorded as part of the Yaqeen Institute during Ramadan in 2018. Each day, I took a prayer from one of our pious predecessors, mostly from the Companions, and taught how to call upon our Creator the same way that they called upon Him.

By following this series on a daily basis each month, and by starting to record a personal dua’ journal, writing down your own prayers following the same manner that the pious predecessors used, you can hopefully conned to Allah in the same way they connected to Him.
